Govt defends Kurien in Rajya Sabha; Left walks out

Rajya Sabha deputy chairman, P J Kurien, who has been under attack in connection with the Suryanelli rape issue, appears to be out of chopping block with the government on Tuesday defending him saying police inquiries and courts have cleared him of all charges.
