Nilam loses steam as it heads to Andhra Pradesh

The Met office was bang on target in its forecast for cyclone Nilam. The storm started off as a low pressure formation over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands more than 10 days ago and developed into a fullfledged cyclone as it approached the east coast near Chennai on Wednesday.
